Job Description
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
· Responsible for filter processing operations including but not limited scheduling, compliance, reporting, processing, inventory control, loading/unloading, housekeeping, safety, and appearance.
· Scrap steel and filter recycling coordinator.
· Create work schedules to cover all filter processing operations.
· Schedule filter trucks for offloading
· Coordinate with RRF Transportation Coordinator and Operations Managers for transportation of filter trailers
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
· Coordinate with scrap steel recycling vendor for transportation of crushed filters
· Schedule pick up of waste roll off for disposal
· Maintain workflow of the warehouse to meet production goals
· Responsible for the safe operation of the filter crusher and PM Schedule
· Process waste absorbents and greases for disposal
· Assist with the offloading of inbound freight
· Report any needed maintenance and repairs to the Fleet Maintenance Manager
· Provide inventory control for drums, carts, totes and filter bins
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Able to read written instruction, complete required paperwork and perform basic math calculations.
· Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications such as word processing and spreadsheets.
· Must have a working knowledge of all applicable rules, regulations, and laws of the State, Federal, pertaining to the collection/transportation of used oil.
· Possesses excellent planning, organizational skills in addition to verbal and written communication capabilities.
· Able to work under pressure.
· Shows initiative and is proactive in problem-solving; seeking ways to increase customer satisfaction and continual improvement in company processes and procedures.
Qualifications
· Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
· Physical activity including bending, reaching, and prolonged periods of sitting.
· Outdoor activity such as climbing ladders, bending, and reaching.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
