Universal Environmental Services is hiring CDL A Regional Tanker Drivers in Knoxville, TN . Transport drivers will be loading, transporting, and unloading used oil. Universal Environmental Services is the leading used oil collector and processing company in the southeastern United States. Covering 24 states and with a growing fleet of more than 300 service and transport trucks, UES collects more than 75 million gallons of used motor oil as well as used industrial oil annually.

Home time : Home 5-6 nights weekly, home weekends!
1-2 overnight trips per week
Schedule : Monday Friday
Shift : Day shift
Route : 300 mile radius of Knoxville, TN
All oil collected is transported to Peachtree City, GA
Level of Touch : Loads, transports, and unloads used oil using a PTO pump
Equipment
Late model sleeper trucks with 53ft tanker trailers
Automatic & manualtransmission
Manual transmission experience preferred
Outward facing cameras
ELD equipped using Samsara system
Amenities : mattress, inverter, fridge, satellite radio
Responsibilities
Wears company supplied uniforms and required safety equipment
Complete all paperwork according to company policies
Establish and maintain effective work relationships with employees and customers
Must be familiar with all company policies and procedures regarding safety and operations
Must have a working knowledge of all applicable rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to the collection / transportation of used oil
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have CDL Alicense
Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record
Must have a tanker endorsement
Hazmat endorsement preferred
Manual transmission experience preferred
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time
Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
Hiring Radius : Drivers must live within 50 miles of Knoxville, TN or be willing to relocate for this position
