Responsibilities
- Operate 3000 PSI filter crushing machine
- Crush used oil filters and drums
- Perform start-up and shut down procedures
- Perform basic operating repairs
- Clean the work area at the end of every shift
- Report all machine malfunctions to supervisor
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Coordinate with the Plant Supervisor the crusher's routine maintenance and PM schedule.
- Process waste absorbents and greases for disposal when needed
- Assist with the offloading of inbound freight when needed
- Operator must be available to work on Saturdays when needed
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Able to read written instruction, complete required paperwork and perform basic math calculations.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Understanding of production and plant processes
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Some forklift experience
Qualifications
- Must have previous experience as a Machine Operator
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
· Physical activity including bending, reaching, and prolonged periods of sitting.
· Outdoor activities such as climbing ladders, bending and reaching
