Production Lead

Duties /Responsibilities

·Leads, by example and mentor staff

·Operates bridge crane to pick up and move materials to pickle tank.

·Checks material on skids for proper balance

·Secures material to skids

·Determines if material is clean enough to be pickled

·Pickles material according to production list

·Ensures proper timing of acid dip to maintain optimum pickling

·Rinses off material after pickling and places in appropriate place for further processing

·Directs employees on the material to be processed to maintain flow of work

·Assists flux with material to keep production moving

·Organizes material to maintain flow and operations

·Maintains a clean and safe working environment

·Performs other duties as assigned

Safety Responsibilities/Expectations

·Strong communication skills to direct employees as necessary

·Ability to use forklift, hoist/spinner and general plant equipment

·Ability to wear all necessary personal protective equipment

·Plant/production environment with high noise level

·Exposure to moving parts and particles from the manufacturing process

·Exposure to extreme outdoor and kettle temperatures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.50 - $25.00 per hour
