Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist (CT Tech) for a 13-week contract in Pontiac, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic scans.
- Prepare and position patients for CT procedures following safety protocols.
- Administer contrast media as needed under physician supervision.
- Review and verify images for clarity and quality before submission.
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for accurate diagnoses.
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and report any malfunctions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- ARRT (CT) certification required.
- Active state licensure in Michigan or eligibility to obtain.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and protocols.
- Proficiency in PACS and EMR systems.
- Ability to work night shifts (4x10 schedule).
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
