Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Location: State College, PA 16801
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $1850 Weekly gross
Shift: Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm
Certifications: BLS/BCLS required
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. This role supports the delivery of quality patient care, working closely with providers, patients, and families in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and assist with exams and treatments
- Administer medications and document care accurately
- Educate patients on health management and medications
- Respond to emergencies and follow safety protocols
- Support daily clinic operations and ensure a clean, safe environment
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- PA LPN License and current BLS (AHA) certification
- 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of ICD-10/CPT and EMR systems
