Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI Scans: Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Patient Preparation: Guide patients through the imaging process, ensuring they’re comfortable, informed, and positioned correctly.
- Maintain Equipment: Perform regular checks on MRI equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Safety First: Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself from magnetic field hazards.
- Image Analysis Support: Collaborate with radiologists to ensure images meet diagnostic standards.
- Documentation: Accurately record patient information, procedures performed, and observations.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and workflow.
- Patient Support: Provide a calming presence and clear communication for patients who may be nervous about the procedure.
Qualifications:
- Certified MRI Tech: Current certification and licensing as an MRI Technologist (ARRT preferred).
- Experience: Prior experience with MRI equipment and procedures is a must.
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support certification required.
- Attention to Detail: Precision and accuracy are essential in diagnostic imaging.
- Communication Skills: Ability to explain procedures clearly and work effectively with patients and team members.
