Shift: 40 hours/week, Days - (07:00-15:30)
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,500
Job Description:
Cody Regional Health is seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both scrubbing and circulating, ensuring the highest quality of patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This position requires participation in on-call weekend and holiday rotations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform circulating and scrubbing duties for various surgical procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and quality care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control policies.
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care based on patient needs.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and surgical site conditions.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN license in the state of WY.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
