Position Highlights

• Shift Schedule:
• 36 hours/week with 12-hour shifts.
• Every Other Weekend required.
• No On-Call Responsibilities.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.
• Floating: Must be willing to float to all units within skill level.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
• Assist in supervising and teaching non-RN staff, such as LPNs and Patient Care Technicians.
• Adapt to various Med Surg/Telemetry units, maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year as an RN in Med Surg/Telemetry.
• Licensure:
• Active Ohio RN license (required at submission).
• Certifications:
• BLS (AHA) – Required.
• ACLS (AHA) – Required.
• Profile Requirements:
• Recent work history.
• Skills checklist (updated within the last year).

Additional Information

• Non-Billable Hours: 8 hours.
• EMR System: MediTech.
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue.
• Floating Policy:
• Required to float to units within your scope of practice.
• Refusal to float may result in unpaid time for the entire work week.
