Location: Sitka, AK 99835 (Remote Position)
Shift: Day Shift (40 hours/week)
Contract Duration: 4 weeks (possible extension)
Compensation:
- W2: $50/hour
- Weekly Gross: $1750
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active Alaska licensure to work remotely on data conversion as Southeast Alaska Regional Health Corporation (SEARHC) transitions from Cerner EHR to Meditech EHR. The primary objective is to pre-populate Meditech records with key clinical information from Cerner. This role involves abstracting and reconciling clinical data elements such as allergies, active medications, and surgical history from Cerner to Meditech, as well as transcribing “future orders” from Cerner into Meditech.
Job Responsibilities:
- Abstract and reconcile select clinical data elements (e.g., allergies, active medications, select surgical history) from Cerner to Meditech
- Transcribe future orders from Cerner to Meditech
- Navigate electronic patient charts in Cerner and Meditech effectively (training provided as needed)
- Ensure accurate transfer of data with attention to detail
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience:
- 2 years of nursing experience in an ambulatory setting
- Experience working with Cerner and/or Meditech is a plus but not required
- Licensure: Active RN license in Alaska
Contract Details:
- Flexible contract length ranging from 8 to 13 weeks
