Duties
- Provide direct patient care in various settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, and critical care transport
- Administer medications and IV infusions following established protocols
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and treatment outcomes
- Conduct health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Perform gastric lavage when necessary
- Utilize electronic health record systems like Athenahealth for documentation
Experience
- Must have a valid RN license
- Experience in travel nursing is a plus
- Proficiency in critical care transport and outpatient care
- Familiarity with IV infusion techniques
- Strong assessment skills for monitoring patient conditions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
