Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room for a 13-week contract in Chandler, AZ. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience in emergency care, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced ER setting.
- Assess, triage, and treat patients with various medical conditions.
- Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for effective patient care.
- Maintain patient safety and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and trauma cases.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience.
- Active Arizona RN license.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (or willingness to obtain if required).
- Strong knowledge of emergency medical protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work day shifts (3x12 schedule).
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
