Shift: Night Shift (36 hours/week)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (possible extension)
Compensation:
- W2: $45/hour
- Non-Taxable Stipend: $1246/week
- Weekly Gross: $3136
Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced ICU RN to join our team at Mercy Medical Center Merced. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, monitor critical patients, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU and Med-Surg/Telemetry units as needed
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, administering treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float between ICU, 4th-floor Tele, and 5th/6th/7th-floor MS Tele as required
- Serve as ICU break coverage and be available for mid-shift floating
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and standard patient care protocols
Required Certifications:
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Additional Details:
- Shift: 12-hour nights, including two weekends per 4 weeks and two out of three major holidays
- Charting System: Cerner
- Must be comfortable handling Med-Surg/Telemetry patients
- No floating to other hospitals
- Direct interview with the manager, no prescreen required
