Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg RN to join our team for an immediate contract assignment. The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to float between Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) and Observation (Obs) units as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in Med-Surg and Observation units
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety regulations
- Respond to patient needs and emergencies promptly
Requirements:
- Active RN License (State-specific or Compact License)
- Certifications: BLS & ACLS (Required)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience preferred
- Ability to float between Med/Surg & Observation units
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Contract Details:
- Duration: 13-week contract
