We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology to join our healthcare team in Wenatchee, WA. This is a 13-week contract position for the night shift (3x12 schedule) with a competitive pay rate of $64 to $69 per hour. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in oncology nursing and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration and symptom management.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and symptom management.
- Collaborate with physicians, oncology specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Washington.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing.
- ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification preferred.
- Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-acuity environment.
