Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week night shift (3x12) contract in Petoskey, MI. This role offers excellent pay and the opportunity to work in a highly supportive and clinically advanced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-acuity care to patients transitioning from ICU to med-surg level.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and manage complex patient cases.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding ongoing treatment and recovery processes.
- Document care accurately and follow hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Active RN license (MI or compact).
- Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown/Progressive Care experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and assessment skills.
