Unit Medical Telemetry

Certs ACLS, BLS, NIH-SS
Ratios 4:1 tele, 5:1 med/surg
EMR Cerner
Charge Nurse Does not take patients
Nurse Aides 3 on day shift when full, 2 on night shift when full
Weekend Requirement 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks
Holidays Required, but negotiable.

Floor specific orientation 1-2 shifts pending on skill level
Common diagnosis / Types of patients Stroke, CHF, Pneumonia, COPD, A fib, Alcohol withdrawl
Additional Notes We also have a small COVID19 unit that traveler may need to float to (med/surg/tele level).
