Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to Telemetry patients, ensuring their needs are met with precision and empathy.
- Monitor Patient Progress: Keep a watchful eye on telemetry monitors and vital signs, identifying changes and acting swiftly.
- Administer Medications and Treatments: Follow protocols to provide medications and treatments with accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Care Team: Work closely with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes.
- Educate and Support Patients: Empower patients and families by teaching them about their conditions, treatments, and recovery plans.
- Accurate Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of patient care, medication administration, and observations.
- Promote Safety: Follow best practices to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Active RN License in Iowa (or a compact license).
- Experience: 1 years in Telemetry or acute care preferred.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required (because lifesaving is what you do).
- Communication Skills: Your ability to connect with patients and teammates is unparalleled. Bonus points if you can tell a great joke!
