Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: Night Shift (12-hour shifts, 3 days per week)
Pay Rate: $45 - $50 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a telemetry unit, monitoring patients with cardiac conditions and providing high-quality nursing care.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
- Interpret and analyze telemetry readings and respond to abnormalities.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-hospital care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Active Texas or Compact RN License.
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience.
- BLS & ACLS certification (AHA or equivalent).
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and patient assessment.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment.
