CVT/EP Technician - Cardiac Cath Lab

The Temecula Valley Hospital CVT/EP Technician will be able to demonstrate competency in Specials/Cath Lab procedures requiring in-depth technical expertise and knowledge of: anatomy and physiology, instrumentation, supplies, and equipment. Responsible for anticipating Radiologist and Cardiologist needs. Anticipates appropriate instrumentation equipment for a wide range of simple and complex procedures. Demonstrates knowledge and performance of procedures utilizing sterile technique.

• Minimum two years' experience as a CVT or EP Tech in an acute care facility
• Interventional Neurology and/or EP experience strongly preferred
• Graduate from a certified school of Cardiovascular Technology preferred
• Certification as RCIS or RCES required within two (2) years of hire
• BLS and ACLS required (valid only through American Heart Association)
