Qualifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures orientation of new clients immediately upon admission.
- Obtains history and presenting information as delineated in program policy.
- Facilitate process therapy group and/or psycho-education groups.
- Facilitates therapeutic activities such as role-playing, art and music, outdoor activities, animal assisted therapies
- Provides individual therapy to clients on assigned caseload.
- Maintains appointed continuous caseload of actively engaged individuals.
- Coordinates comprehensive discharge plan to ensure seamless community reintegration.
Education and Experience
- State of Georgia Licensure in a mental health related field is required.
- 1 year of experience in mental health or substance abuse field preferred.
