Beaumont Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility)

Beaumont Behavioral Hospital, a 144-bed behavioral health facility, provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues will be offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility will provide a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.

Position Summary

The Outpatient Social Worker performs group therapy, assessments, and provide information and referrals as needed. The social worker will work with both Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and provide a combination of group, family and individual therapy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: MSW only

License: LMSW or an LLMSW with experience

Experience: Requires at least 1 to 3 years' experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. Combination of education, licensure and experience and/ or student internship hours may be considered.

Hours: Monday-Friday 12:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
