Responsibilities
SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
- Effective verbal and written skills needed to maintain intensive contact with patient's home school counselors and teachers, and as appropriate school district personnel throughout the patient's hospitalization, as well as post-discharge.
- Working knowledge of psychiatric treatment modalities, including behavior management techniques.
- General knowledge of state and federal laws governing Special Education - Approved School Programs.
- Must be able to understand and respond to complex written and oral instructions.
- Must possess skills necessary to respond quickly and calmly under stressful or emergency situations.

Qualifications
Licenses or Certifications : Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field. Current Arkansas Special Education Teaching Certificate or obtain the certification within 3 years.
