Cumberland Hospital, located between Williamsburg and Richmond, seeks a dedicated Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team on a PRN/part-time basis, focusing exclusively on Children and Adolescents.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct medical histories & physicals, consultations, and follow-ups for residential treatment patients.
- Proficiency in medical H&P's and continuity of care is essential.
- Experience in handling high volumes of outpatient exams, including ear pain, lacerations, sore throats, abdominal pain, and diabetes management.
- Familiarity with psychotropic medications is advantageous, although advanced certification/degree in psychiatry is not mandatory.
This role primarily addresses the medical needs of psychiatric patients, not psychiatric issues per se.
