We seek a dedicated Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a PRN/part-time basis, focusing exclusively on pediatric and adolescent health services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting medical histories & physicals, consultations, and follow-ups for residential treatment patients. Proficiency in medical H&P's and continuity of care is essential.
A strong background in handling high volumes of outpatient exams, including ear pain, lacerations, sore throats, abdominal pain, and diabetes management is required. Familiarity with psychotropic medications is advantageous, although advanced certification/degree in psychiatry is not mandatory.
This role primarily addresses the medical needs of psychiatric patients, not psychiatric issues per se.
As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with Pediatric, Family Medicine, Psychiatry, and Physiatry Physicians, NPs, Psychologists, Dietitians, and Nurses.
