The Aurora Pavilion in Aiken, SC, is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to join the team at our 62-bed inpatient facility.
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with us, you'll have the chance to work with adult, geriatric, and child / adolescent patients in a collaborative environment. Our physician staff includes two employed psychiatrists and an independent physician, ensuring ample support and collaboration opportunities.
This position will be a 7 on / 7 off work schedule seeing patients in the PHP / IOP and consults in the emergency room. Responsibilities include providing psychiatric medical care in collaboration with our physician staff, conducting psychiatric evaluations, ensuring appropriate treatment plans, communicating with families, participating in utilization reviews, and more. With an average caseload of 18 patients per day and a 40-hour workweek, you'll have a manageable workload that allows you to focus on quality patient care. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' post- training experience.
