Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in health information management or medical preferred
- A minimum of five years' leadership experience in information management, with direct experience in a healthcare psychiatric facility preferred
- Knowledge of health information management and healthcare delivery systems, medical and psychiatric terminology, confidentiality and release of information laws, leadership skills, and computer and word processing programs
- Certification accreditation as a medical record professional, Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT), or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), as determined by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
- Current CPR or BLS certification or ability to learn
