Responsibilities
Conducts concurrent review of the medical records for identification of Core Measure deficiencies. Collaborates with nursing staff and physicians to communicate Core Measure deficiencies. Assists in the development and maintenance of high quality, evidence based care through education and training of staff. Assists in chart audits and abstraction. Provides feedback related to Core Measure compliance issues to Nursing Directors and Managers. Collaborates with the Director and Manager of Quality in analysis and action planning to meet all departmental deadlines related to Core Measures and other Quality initiatives. Assists Quality department in chart evaluation as a function of the Peer Review Process.
Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
