About the Role :
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Family Medicine team in Denville, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong clinical skills, and a collaborative spirit. You'll play a vital role in supporting our physicians and ensuring the best possible patient experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform patient care activities, including obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures.
- Conduct EKGs and phlebotomy procedures with precision and professionalism.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR / EMR) efficiently; experience with Athena is a plus.
- Process pre-authorizations and referrals to facilitate patient care.
- Maintain exam rooms, ensure medical equipment is sanitized, and inventory supplies.
- Provide education and instructions to patients as directed by healthcare providers.
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and infection control standards.
