We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team at Universal-Hospital-Services-Inc. The ideal candidate will have expertise in behavioral health services and a proven track record of success in leadership roles.
Job Summary:
The Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality medical care to patients at our new facility, Southridge Behavioral Hospital. This individual will work closely with our clinical team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.
The Medical Director will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the hospital, including staff supervision, budgeting, and resource allocation. Additionally, this individual will collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and maximum efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality medical care to patients
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the hospital, including staff supervision, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and maximum efficiency
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff to ensure excellence in patient care
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:
- A Doctoral degree in Medicine or related field
- Licensure to practice medicine in the state of Michigan
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leadership roles within a behavioral health setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
