Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position focuses on assisting clients with property and casualty insurance renewals, particularly during challenging conversations. The ideal candidate will have a Property and Casualty Insurance license and a passion for helping customers navigate their insurance needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding property and casualty insurance renewals, addressing inquiries and providing support in a professional and courteous manner.
- Renewal Conversations: Handle difficult renewal conversations with clients, demonstrating active listening and conflict resolution skills to understand and address their concerns effectively.
- Policy Management: Assist clients with understanding their insurance policies, coverage options, and any changes during the renewal process.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, renewal discussions, and any resolutions reached.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the underwriting department to provide clients with the most accurate and timely information regarding their policies.
- Education: Educate clients about the benefits of renewing their policies, addressing any questions or misconceptions they may have.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and encourage policy renewals.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- Licensing: Valid property and casualty insurance license required.
- Experience: Previous customer service experience required. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage difficult conversations are essential.
