General Description:
The Claims Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the claims division, ensuring efficient workflow, compliance, and quality control. This role plays a critical part in optimizing claim processing efficiency, managing independent adjusters, and supporting the Director of Claims in executing strategic initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage claims processing workflows, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of claims.
Coordinate the assignment and deployment of independent adjusters, optimizing response times.
Implement audit procedures and review claim files for accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Leverage claims management systems to track performance metrics, reporting trends to leadership.
Assist in managing claims-related expenses, ensuring cost-effective claims handling.
Work with insurance carriers, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth claims operations.
Stay up to date on industry regulations and ensure compliance across all claims operations.
Performs other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience:

Proven ability to manage high volumes of claims efficiently.
Proficiency in claims management software and data analysis tools.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
