We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our logistics and supply chain operations.
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily activities of our production personnel, ensuring that they meet productivity, quality, and safety goals. You will also be responsible for managing warehouse and inventory levels, as well as supervising and leading our general workforce to achieve operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise department line personnel to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Oversee the activities of the designated department area – Quality, Materials, or Production Wheel and Tire or Axles.
- Maintain accurate attendance, production, and training records for organizational purposes.
- Identify and report any problems that may impact production or related department assemblies.
- Implement and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Support programs related to ISO/TS 16949 and ISO14001.
- Manage employee issues and conduct disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Respond to Corrective Actions and/or findings from internal and external audits.
