We are currently seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics (2nd Shift) at our Romulus, MI facility. Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. offers industry leading pay, comprehensive benefits, and career advancement opportunities.
DIESEL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :
- Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services
- Repair trucks, and trailers and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition
- Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
- Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials
- Fill out accurate work orders daily
