Assistant Pastor

Universal Ministries is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Pastor to support our ministry's mission of faith, service, and community outreach. The Assistant Pastor will work closely with the Senior Pastor to provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care, and administrative support while fostering a welcoming and uplifting environment for our congregation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in leading worship services, delivering sermons, and providing biblical teachings.

Offer pastoral care and counseling to members of the congregation.

Support church programs, including youth ministry, Bible studies, and outreach initiatives.

Organize and participate in community service and evangelism efforts.

Assist with administrative tasks, event planning, and church operations.

Collaborate with church leadership to develop spiritual growth initiatives.

Provide support in conducting weddings, funerals, and other religious ceremonies.

Qualifications:

Degree in Theology, Ministry, or a related field preferred.

Previous experience in pastoral ministry or church leadership.

Strong knowledge of scripture and Christian doctrine.

Excellent communication and public speaking skills.

Ability to provide compassionate pastoral care and counseling.

Passion for community outreach and spiritual guidance.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Pay: $55,724.00 - $65,035.00 per year
