We are looking for a motivated Accounting Title Clerk to join our growing company. Here, you'll find the opportunities, resources, and support you need to grow and develop professionally. The individual in this role will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties as directed by the Office Manager and Controller. Accounting Title Clerk Duties and Responsibilities may include a number of the following: 

• Process paperwork received from the F&I Department.
• Prepare documents such as tax and title documents to transfer ownership of property.
• Submit paperwork to the appropriate government office, such as the Department of Motor Vehicles or the County Clerk’s Office.
• Check documents to ensure that all information is accurate and double-check important data such as names and addresses.
• Process tag/title/registration on out-of-state, outside lien, and lease buyout deals. 
• Perform basic and routine accounting functions.
• Handle miscellaneous clerical tasks.
• Proactively communicate with your supervisor.
• Communicate errors or unusual items.
• Propose solutions and improvements to processes.
• Answer incoming calls for the accounting office.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Accounting Clerk Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Franchised dealership accounting title clerk experience 3 years.
• Prior experience reconciling accounts.
• Strong knowledge of math and accounting.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Tekion experienced a plus.
• Great Customer Service.
• Ability to lift 5-10 lbs. unassisted.
