Job Summary
Universal Nutrition, a leading sports nutrition company with a portfolio of brands dedicated to strength athletes and enthusiasts, is looking for a talented Manager, Social Media who is passionate about all things social media and is on top of the latest trends and technologies driving the space. The ideal candidate must be skilled in crafting social content and writing for consumer audiences, to develop, manage and optimize our social media programs. This role will report to the Head of Content and work as an integral member of our marketing team, helping manage our brand image via social media, in a cohesive way to help achieve our marketing goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Design and implement a social media strategy and specific content pieces to align with business goals, brand guidelines and the larger marketing team
- Perform research on current industry trends and audience preferences
- Develop campaigns to generate brand awareness and consumer engagement
- Manage all social media channels for organic campaigns
- Ownership of all organic and boosted posts start to finish
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily
- Support our digital team and agency in paid advertising efforts, while also owning the boosting strategy for social media
- Create flight plans and set deadlines for assets, copy, creative and articles
- Own the development and manage monthly calendars primarily for US channels, for both the Animal and Universal U brands
- Support for Latin America and other international channels
- Support international brand ambassador’s social media activities
- Create and post social media content on the Animal and Universal brand channels
- Storyboard ideas and create in-app content
- Create social media content, including TikToks, IG Reels and Stories
- Knowledge of what works on specific platforms, specifically Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube
- Managed directly via the channel or Sprout Social
- Be able to ascertain what is trending and if it makes sense for our brands
- Reporting and Analytics
- Set clear KPI, monitor and optimize to achieve marketing and business goals
- Monthly reporting to demonstrate achievement of goals and continual progress
- Leadership
- Managing 1-2 junior level team members

- Develop a cadence for boosting social content, while managing an annual budget
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a proven record of developing and managing organic and paid campaigns across a variety of social media channels, especially Instagram and TikTok. You should also be able to easily switch from the content and creative side of marketing to the analytical side of social campaign management and optimization, being able to set and track KPIs and analyze and report on performance. Ultimately, this person will be able to effectively manage our social media presence ensuring high levels of audience growth and consumer engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Marketing preferred
- 3 years of experience of social media marketing
- Excellence in delivering creative content (text, image, and video)
- Proficient in copywriting, marketing, and brand communications
- Proficient in Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter management and analytics
- Experience in creating and managing social campaigns for a consumer brand
- Experience developing optimization strategies with demonstrable results
- Extensive experience with Sprout Social or similar social media management tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

- Ability to travel as needed, including some weekends for events
Supplemental Pay:
