Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY:
Assist in the financial analysis and make recommendations for various divisions and business units. Maintain detailed financial reports and work with management to develop annual budgets.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete routine financial reports that summarize the performance of the division such as weekly labor performance to budget and weekly non-labor performance.
- Assist Finance Manager and division Operating management in the development of annual budgets and latest estimates.
- Research vendor payment issues and makes recommendations for resolution. Complete miscellaneous billing requests.
- Complete month-end close duties, including report review and journal entries in SAP.
- Prepare worksheets and analyze a range of accounts to verify accuracy, identify business trends or problem areas.
- Assist with applicable ad-hoc projects and requests.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Associate degree (AA) is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- 1 year of Finance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
