JOB SUMMARY:

The Experience Strategy & Graphic Design intern will work cross-functionally with Digital & Technology, Creative, and Operations to help imagine, articulate, and drive experience innovation for Universal Destinations & Experiences globally. The role will provide exposure to experience design, vision documentation, executive communication, and pre-visualization for new digital and physical experiences. The internship will explore how to effectively create visions for current and future destinations and help shape our overall strategies through dynamic storytelling.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates visual assets to support experience strategies and alignment.
• Assists development of PowerPoint presentations illustrating complex ideas through consumable graphics and other story-vignettes.
• Develops initial mockups of digital user interfaces for concept purposes only.
• Leverages a variety of digital mediums to better plan, communicate, and workshop new immerging industry, entertainment, and travel trends.
• Assist with experience testing, activations, and implementations.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
• Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
• A transcript is required upon application.
• Preferred majors include: Graphic Design, Illustration, UXUI, Gaming/Modeling, Themed Entertainment Design, or similar.
  
  

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe After Effects.
• Knowledge of 3D Modeling Software.
• Experience with Design, Art, Drawing, Illustration, and Modelling.

• This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
• Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2025.
• Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
• All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
