This will be a hybrid opportunity working at least 3 days a week in the office in Orlando, FL.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager, Technical Product Owner-Salesforce is responsible for overseeing the development and enhancement of technical solutions within the multiple Salesforce platforms for North America. This includes defining product requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing the product lifecycle, and ensuring alignment with business goals. The Manager, Technical Product Owner-Salesforce will often act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and successful implementation of Salesforce solutions.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Product Vision & Strategy:
    • Build the product vision and strategy in partnership with stakeholders. Research and analysis on competitive landscape.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Salesforce Admin and Development teams, Business Analyst and business partners and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget. Break down business requirements into smaller workable portions. Create detailed product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria to help guide the Salesforce Admin and Dev teams. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, fostering effective communication.
  • Roadmap Management:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive roadmaps, lead cross-functional teams in sprint planning, refine and groom user stories, and effectively prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Oversee the product release process, coordinating development teams to ensure smooth and timely product launches for multiple products.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead assigned project scope requirements through the development life cycle of project, to ensure that the scope is managed and that the original requirements are delivered.
  • Prioritization and Platform Management:
    • Assess and prioritize features based on business value, user impact, and technical feasibility. Leverage user feedback to enhance functionality and user experience. Oversee the product development lifecycle from initial concept and planning through to development, testing, launch and hyper care.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering or similar field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years of Salesforce platform experience required.
  • 3 years of management experience required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Salesforce Administrator certification – Required.
  • Platform Developer I – Required.
  • Salesforce Platform App a plus.
  • Other Salesforce Certifications and Scrum Certification a plus.
  • Experience with Atlassian Suite, including Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience using SQL, SOQL, APEX, Visualforce, lightning web components and BI reporting tools.
  • Experience with Excel (advanced), Word (intermediate) and other Microsoft applications.
  • Experience with Salesforce ISV managed packages.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills backed with experience.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex concepts.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience as a Salesforce Product Manager and/or Product Manager for similar CRM products required.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of version control system, automated testing and integration.
  • Technical solution documentation for admin and developer teams.
