Servers, Catering (Seasonal)

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for specific aspects of equipment pulls, event set-up and service, and breaking down of catering events as instructed by the Catering Captains and Catering Managers. Ensure exemplary guest service through all forms of banquet service, such as buffet, plated, carving stations and bartending.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures exemplary guest service during events and through all forms of banquet service, including: buffets, plated, carving stations, bartending, running food, replenishing product and supplies in accordance event standards.
• Responsible for ensuring that assigned stations are properly equipped and executed by pulling, transporting, setting up and breaking down, and returning equipment to designated storages in accordance to event standards and the BEO instructions.
• Performs side work helping to provide a clean and safe work environment in all catering areas. Cleans, organizes, and restocks product/equipment returning from catering events.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SCOPE:

Responsible for specific aspects of equipment pulls, event set-up and service, and breaking down of catering events.

EXPERIENCE:

1-2 years previous external catering or banquet service experience required in a similar market; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Valid Class D Florida Driver’s License is required.
