WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a detailed-orientated, passionate and energetic Personnel Coordinator to join our South Dakota team in Sioux Falls! To be successful in this role the right candidate will have strong teamwork and communication skills and the motivation to support our current nurses, new nurses, clients and client families. Being highly organized, confidential, able to work in a face-paced environment and enjoy problem solving is critical in this position.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITES
Maintains all designated office(s) internal and field staff personnel files.
90-day and annual staff performance evaluations: Ensures all evaluation forms are up-to-date and meet compliance deadlines.
Sends notification(s) of upcoming requirements and any necessary deficiency notices to both office and field staff.
Welcomes and assists professional staff, applicants, and visitors to the office, responding to general inquiries and providing help in a friendly and cooperative manner.
Assists with execution of some aspects of field employee recruiting as it relates to moving the candidate through the on boarding and orientation process.
Facilitates new hire orientation and ensures that all new hire documents are uploaded and submitted in a timely manner.
Coordinates the timely collection and submission of all necessary annual personnel file documentation for office and field staff.
Takes on various responsibilities as assigned by branch office leadership related to personnel and the recruitment of field staff.
Participates in company Quality Assurance Performance Improvement program (QAPI) as requested.
Ensure that office and field attend and/or completes all mandatory training/ in-services as assigned
Attends and/or completes all mandatory training/ in-services as assigned.
Adheres to company compliance and ethics expectations.
May assist in miscellaneous bookkeeping functions
Maintains patient and family confidentiality
Maintains professional, supportive, and responsive interpersonal communication skills
Audit records and personnel files as needed
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One or two years related experience in scheduling preferred.
- Must be capable of independent operation of various office equipment including computer, facsimile machine, postage machine, telephone, copier, etc.
- Basic computer skills a must.
- Must communicate well both orally and in writing in English.
SCHEDULE:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Participate in 24 hour on-call rotation for scheduling emergencies with clients and staff, documenting all calls received.
- Travel may be required outside of office hours
WAGE:
- Hourly position (non-exempt)
- Wage is based on experience, skills and qualification

JUDGMENT AND INITIATIVE:
Must work well as a team player, as well as, work independently. Must demonstrate a high degree of judgment in the application of agency policies. Must exercise good initiative in the development and implementation of the staffs’ schedules. The position requires a high degree of confidentiality.
WORK CONDITIONS/HAZARDS:
Occasional exposure to hazardous substances and infectious diseases. Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of approximately twenty-five pounds. Work environment includes frequent interruptions.
TRAVEL:
Some traveling to other states may be necessary to perform this job. Periodic exposure to weather elements
