Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Design Engineer, located in the Springfield, Massachusetts Metropolitan Area. The Project Design Engineer will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing thermoformed products, overseeing the technical aspects of projects from start to finish, and ensuring that designs meet stringent industry standards. Daily tasks include performing mechanical and project engineering duties, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and providing technical support during the production process. The role requires effective communication with clients and supplier partners to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Project Design and Design Engineering
- Must be proficient in CAD
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting and Design work
- Experience in Project Management
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Experience in the thermoforming or plastics industry is a plus
