Compensation: This is a non-exempt position, with an annual salary of $50K-$54K.
Role Summary: The Staffing Coordinator/HR Associate role is a fully onsite position 5 days a week. This position serves as an integral part of our Human Resources department. You will help manage the recruitment process, ensuring a strong candidate pipeline and fulfilling staffing requirements based on the organization's needs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers in recruitment, such as assessing the current and future manpower needs, reviewing and updating job descriptions, job posting, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, conducting background checks and other related tasks.
- Conduct employee onboarding process including offer letter and contract agreement preparation, prepare orientation materials, collect and properly file documents, I-9 verification and filing, coordinate new hire orientation training, and coordinate among the internal activation team to ensure a smooth integration for new hires.
- Manage and maximize the utilization of different job boards.
- Proactively seek talent sources and evaluate different hiring channels.
- Design interview questions and screening procedures for different positions.
- Manage special projects in workforce management, quarterly/monthly HR data reports and other ad-hoc works in progress.
- Assist with performance management initiatives, retention strategies and employee development.
- Support special projects in employee engagement and building/promoting of company culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Organizational Development, Communication, or Psychology preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment is required
- Ability to work independently, reliably and allocate time efficiently with limited direction, self-starter.
- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills, business acumen, and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Organizational skills with an ability to prioritize work and multi-task several projects simultaneously.
- Reliable knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and regulations.
- Work experience in a diverse culture workplace is a plus.
