SUMMARY:

Coordinates/works with the Finishing Supervisor, Finishing Lead and/or Production Manager

DUTIES:

• Process information from the production orders
• Slit product accurately per instructions or procedures
• Check all finished work for accuracy
• Perform preventive maintenance or safety inspections on equipment per schedule
• Clean and maintain work area
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

SPECIAL SKILLS OR ABILITIES: Must possess the following skills:

• Language Skills: Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general information pertaining to the job. Must be able to prepare reports required for the job. Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing and be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from other employees.
• Reasoning Ability: Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Must have the ability to apply information and variables learned from one task or project to other similar situations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Prefer 1 year experience as Machine Operator in manufacturing setting.
