Position Overview
Universal Radiology Partners, LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Hospitalist team for a night shift position. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive care to adult patients hospitalized for various conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the attending physician and medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as necessary
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate records
- Respond to clinical needs in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in California
- Board certification (ACNP, FNP, or PA-C)
- At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
