Job Summary
Universal Radiology Partners, LLC seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Hospitalist team for a night shift position. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient assessments and history taking
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the attending physician and medical team
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and prescribe medications as necessary
- Perform physical exams, diagnostic tests, and interpret results
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Document patient encounters and ensure accurate, timely entries in Cerner EMR system
- Respond to clinical needs in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a high level of care
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in California
- Board certification (ACNP, FNP, or PA-C)
- At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
