Controller

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team. As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in corporate accounting, is familiar with financial concepts, and has experience in public or governmental accounting. Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as Accounting Manager or Accounting Supervisor

• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, QuickBooks accounting software and databases. Experience with Acctivate Inventory software preferred.

• Computer Networking & IT background preferred but not required

• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data

• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to direct and supervise

• BS degree in Accounting – GPA of 3.5 preferred

• CPA Preferred

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
