Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of property and equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergencies or investigations as required.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Provide assistance in conflict management situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations until professional medical help arrives.
Skills
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV systems.
- Strong background in loss prevention strategies and practices.
- Military or law enforcement experience is highly desirable.
- Certification in conflict management is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures is essential.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions.
