Pay Range: $25-$28/hour
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintaining, repairing, and occasionally installing various wireless tower types
- Assists in the installation, maintenance, and de-installation of all aspects of wireless cell site foundations including: grounding conduits, electrical installations, site de-installation of antennas, coax, and cabinets
- Climbing ladders of various heights and types
- Construction, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment
- Operating test equipment and data reporting
- Performing additional maintenance or upgrades on out of season equipment
- Working with a crew and responding to service calls in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to work overtime to include Saturdays, Sundays and evening hours
- Be able to travel 100% of the time, with extensive time away from the corporate location

Requirements
Qualification and Physical Requirements
- High school diploma /GED and 1-2 years tower construction
- Valid Driver’s License - strongly preferred/may be required depending upon the location in which the position is required to work
- Knowledge of standard knots
- Basic computer skills required for equipment programing and site closeouts
- Sweep & PIM testing certifications (practical knowledge/skill test may be performed during interview)
- Visual ability correctable to 20/20
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk or hear
- The work requires the employee to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl up to 90% of the day
- Frequently the employee is required to lift or carry up to 10 or 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 or 100 lbs.
- Able to climb to and work at heights exceeding 300’. The employee needs to have good vision for close work, distance, color discrimination, peripheral, and depth perception
